Web Design for TengoInternet Recognized for Communication Excellence
|
|
ROBOT has been recognized by the San Antonio Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) with a Bronze Quill Award for TengoInternet's website.
TengoInternet's solutions allow property managers in the outdoor hospitality industry to provide Internet access to their guests. The website needed to provide information for the distinctly separate needs of both property managers and guests.
ROBOT helped to untangle previously confusing messaging and site navigation to improve the user experience by addressing the needs and interests of each specific audience.

What Does Your Dog Dream About?
|
Find the answer in these custom fabric patterns
Lara August, ROBOT founder, and Kim Marks from the Marks Design Group worked together to design and fabricate two custom dog beds for the annual Barks-n-Bling silent auction on May 16th benefiting the International Interior Design Association's (IIDA) Frederick Gratton Memorial Endowment Fund. All fabric patterns were designed by Lara and featured doggy-centric
themes, like a houndstooth pattern made from fetching-sticks and a clam-shell
pattern with luminescent fire hydrants - every dog's dream! Both beds sold for a combined total of $1100 at the auction, the largest amount raised by a single set of donations.

Words to Live By
|
|
As part of a recent Friday Project, the ROBOT team took an adventure in self-discovery by defining our individual style statements. A style statement is a two-word combination that defines one's true
self and can act as a mantra for helping make decisions in life, from
what clothing to wear to what friends to hang out with. The process was created by Carrie McCarthy and Danielle LaPorte, formerly an interior designer and a business strategist, respectively, who teamed up and are now personal style consultants. We admit that this may sound a little "Oprah", but we really had a lot of fun getting to know ourselves and each other a little better. Can you guess which style statement goes with which ROBOT? Click on each style statement below for details.
