ROBOT is located on South Alamo Street, just south of Downtown San Antonio in the area known as Southtown. This unique neighborhood is comprised of historical houses, converted warehouses and artists' lofts as well as an eclectic blend of shops, galleries and restaurants.
Lara August, Owner and Creative Director of ROBOT, has been active in the Southtown Mainstreet Revitalization Program as Marketing Chair since 2003 and was recognized as Newcomer of the Year for the Texas Mainstreet Alliance in 2005.
ROBOT has undertaken numerous projects to support the Southtown organization including: marketing plan development, identity development, traditional newsletters, email newsletters, brochures, area maps, an area business directory, media kits, sponsorship packets and more.
The Robot Art Gallery is also a regular participant in Southtown's art-related events including First Friday and Second Saturday.
