We needed a conservative image to appeal to law firms and corporate counsel. The idea of a flag "staking a claim" with its underlying implications was a perfect match. Both defensive and powerful, it makes the right impression.

The "D" in defense was capitalized and the space between the words "brand" and "defense" was eliminated to strengthen the domain www.branddefense.com, but also to make sure that no one dropped out the second "d" in their name.
